Why ROMY Kosmetik is anti-aging
ROMY contains a number of super antioxidant ‘bush fruits’, native to Australia. The native Aboriginal people of Australia have used bush fruits for thousands of years for a host of applications including the treatment of skin disorders. Being natural, they are safe for all skin types, and particularly help with problems of oiliness, dryness and sensitivity. We use the following bush fruit extracts throughout our products: Kakadu Plum, Quandong and Lilly Pilly.
What is Kakadu Plum?
Kakadu Plum is known as a super antioxidant. It contains three naturally occurring antioxidants known to slow the ageing process. The highest concentration of L-ascorbic acid or L-ascorbate (Vitamin C) is found in Kakadu Plum at more than 3000mg per 100gm. It also contains polyphenol antioxidant and folate (natural folic acid).
What is Quandong?
Quandong is high in essential fatty acids and L-ascorbic acid or L-ascorbate (Vitamin C). The essential fatty acids, along with the Vitamin C are known to stimulate collagen production for firmer and better looking skin.
What is Lilly Pilly?
Lilly Pilly uniquely contains fruit acids that are a natural astringent perfect for toning and cleansing. Along with Kakadu Plum and Quandong it is also a powerful antioxidant containing high levels of L-ascorbic acid or L-ascorbate (Vitamin C) which is known to slow the ageing process.
Romy and Qantas Helping Hands Community
The QHHC AIM is to improve the lives, education and environment of underprivileged people and disadvantaged communities. By participating in long and short term community based projects that will give underprivileged people and communities an improved start in life and empower them to achieve all that is possible throughout their lives.
“The Qantas Helping Hands Community are proud to be associated with Romy. They are fantastic sponsors of our programs in Indonesia. With the product Romy donated we were able to raise over $6000 for our school building program in rural central Sulawesi. QHHC’s next project is to raise money to build a boarding facility in nearby Palu, where the best students from the villages can go to further their education at High School. We are looking forward once again to Romy’s involvement.” Sunny South, Secretary, QHHC.
“The generosity of Romy supporting our small charity of volunteers at Qantas Helping Hands Community (QHHC) is inspiring to all our volunteers. I really feel that the support, both donations and moral, that Romy has given to the QHHC has increased our ability to raise more funds and to work harder to assist those in need. This translates to much more assistance we can pass on to projects in Australia, Indonesia and India. Romy might be a small company but it is big on generosity and desire to help those less fortunate.” Brett South, QHHC
